Long time coming...

So I know I have been super slack on postings :( So here is another MUCH NEEDED update.

Katie is 7 1/2 months old and weighs 19.1 lbs. She is clapping, sitting herself up from laying down and scooting across the floor. This morning I walked in to find her pulled up on her knees on the side of her crib bouncing! It is amazing how fast she's growing!! She has had 7 (8 if you count the time she had double) ear infections and just got tubes this past Wednesday. She had an ear infection when she went in but thankfully he still put the tubes in. That day she was out of sorts and had two bleeding episodes from the infected ear but otherwise has done great since.
She loves anything with apples or bananas in it and is crazy about carrots! She is the happiest most ready to go little girl. She can not just sit in on a lap, she must be bouncing and jumping all the time!!!

My Trey is the smartest boy ever! He loves to draw, color, paint, trace letters on his dry erase boards, use his tools to "fix" things, ride his bike and swim among MANY other things! He is trying to learn to ride his bike without the training wheels. He is crazy fast in everything he does. He knows one speed and that is super fast! He will tell you having on sunglasses or a certain pair of shoes will make him faster :)

He is also all about loving on his sister!!! He is crazy about her!!!! As soon as he wakes up he needs to know where she is and will not let her be in a room by herself. He'll be playing in the living room by her and if he needs to go get something from his room he will ask me to come sit with her until he comes back. I pray he keeps that attitude of loving and taking care of her!

Kathleen Glenn Rhodes

I can not believe it has taken me 11 weeks to announce the birth of our most perfect daughter, Kathleen Glenn Rhodes. Her name is so special to us for the family meanings. Kathleen was Jerry's, father's, mother's name. Glenn came from my Papa who raised me. She was born on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 4:46pm. She weighed 9 lbs 5.5 ozs. and was 21 1/2 inches long. We are so blessed to have her, she is such a miracle!
