I am very happy to say that tomorrow we will be 37 weeks!!! That means we are considered "full term"!!! I am so happy to know she is still growing strong and healthy and Lord willing, not need extra help or NICU care after she comes!!
I am having contractions throughout the day and a pretty good bit at night, so not fun! I never had them like this with Trey. I had the ones at the top of my tummy but never the WHOLE thing. I understand what women mean when they say they can't help but to push. It makes them not as uncomfortable.
We had a scare Wednesday night. All day long Katie did not move much and what she did move was very faint. Then after church that night I couldn't get her to move AT ALL!! Talking about SCARY! So about 10:00 pm I headed to the hospital. It took the nurse a really long time to find her heartbeat!! I would have been even more scared but the nurse pushed my tummy so hard one time that Katie moved so we knew she was "OK". We could hear her slight movements on the heartbeat monitor so that made me a little more less stressed. She finally got her heartbeat and could only find it in the one spot the whole night. She had good accelerations so the nurse and Dr. were comfortable with her well being. Her heartbeat was staying around 111-115 which is below the comfort level but they said she is so big, has no room and can't really do much to get her heart rate up much.
We go in on Monday for our weekly check-up. One thing we have to keep up with is her fluid, since she is taking up so much space it could start to run low. I can't wait to see how big he thinks she is. Last week he said at least 9 lbs. I can't imagine how big she/I will be if we do make it 13 more days to our Dec 3rd scheduled date!!!!
Tomorrow is my last day doing nursery work and I am sad about it! I had planned to work right up the Wednesday before she comes but I can't make it. I am exhausted and very uncomfortable. What energy I do have is spent on taking care of and playing with Trey, grocery shopping, a little bit of house work and not much else.
This pregnancy has flown by when I look at the big picture but now the days are really seeming to drag by. I am so excited to know that very soon though, I will be holding my sweet girl in my arms and kissing her beautiful face. We are so thankful to our amazing God who so graciously blessed us with this "impossible" dream. God is so good!

Random Stuff
I am getting bigger which in turn makes me more tired and out of breath more. This confuses me. Why would it have to be that way. We should gain more energy toward the end to get us ready for the big day and days to follow. We still have to finish getting the room together, washing up all the cute clothes, packing for the big day, just to name a few. Why would one be tired?
Anyways, Trey is still calling Katie "Cookie" and talks to her daily. He runs up to me and tells me he needs to hug and kiss her and tell her hey. I really really hope this excitement holds on after she gets here.
I am so heart burned and leg cramped along with many other very "special" pregnancy side effects. I hope that all this is my hard time and that she will hang out until her scheduled date. I had a little "pitty party" per say last night in a panic over having to use the NICU again. That was the worst thing ever! Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful for the very nice and skilled nurses who got very excited about getting "the big baby", but leaving the hospital and my baby there while I went home was horrible! :( Trey's pregnancy was much smoother but the end was the hard part.
2 weeks ago at our 24 week dr appt. we were 24 weeks 2 days and she was measuring 25 weeks 5 days. I am a little concerned about her being LARGE like Trey. I hope to feel better at the next appt and she will be a little more on track. (just a big growth spurt that time right?!?!) In the ultrasound we got an up close look at her SUPER CUTE very round face! I got so tickled! She is still head up and feet down which she uses to dance a jig when my bladder is full! (not good times)
As I type this Trey is sitting beside me asking a million questions and eating an orange. He is such a blessing to me and I could not be more thankful for him! He is a pistol at this age and FULL of interesting sayings, actions and all around "boy" things! He does some crazy stuff that amazes me that he would even think to do. 3 is a very challenging age. He is really testing boundaries and it really challenges my patience!
Jerry and I will be married for 7 years this month. Some days it feels like 7, some times like 1 and others like we have been together since the ark landed on dry land. We are so excited about our family of 4 and are enjoying the crazy days we are so blessed to spend together!

A Little Scary
This morning while Trey and I were playing in the living room he was running across the room to hug me. As he got just in front of me he threw up his hands in front of him and bulldozed my tummy. It hurt pretty bad and made me very nauseous. I called the Dr office just to be on the safe side. They asked me to come in to make sure everything looked OK and it does. Everything is in tact and the baby was wiggling and the heart was going strong. :) phew, little bit scary

Cravings, growing and such...
I am almost 14 weeks pregnant now and since last week I CAN NOT GET ENOUGH MEXICAN FOOD!!!! After tonight, I will have had it 4 nights in a row! I don't know why but it is my absolute favorite food right now.
I have been feeling the baby move and that is super exciting! I knew that was what I was feeling but still second guessed myself since it was so early. At my last ultrasound Dr Hanna was showing me where the baby is at and he/she is right where I have been feeling. So that reassured me.
I LOVE my new doctor and thank my friend Stephanie for sending me to him. With Trey it would take 2 hours EVERY appointment and I would talk to the Dr. maybe 5 minutes max. Dr Hanna is with me talking almost the entire visit and I am out after 30 minutes. I love it and am so happy I changed.
Our next ultrasound it on the 29th and he may be able to tell the sex, but if not it will be in July! I can not wait! I don't like calling the baby it like, "it's moving again" so I say they. That messes up a lot of people and then they think there is more than one. I am so ready to say he or she! Trey truly believes he is gonna have a "baby siser" and he can't wait. I hope he is OK with a brother if that's what God's plan is.
Trey is growing by leaps and bounds!! His 3 year old appt was yesterday and he is 38 lbs which is above 97% and 37 inches tall putting him in the 68th%! He amazes me every day with new phrases and words he knows the meaning to and how to use them! We start VBS next week and he is so ready! He misses his friends and can't wait to get back to church everyday! (I hope I make it being with 4 year olds!)
Jerry is still enjoying his job and working A LOT! He leaves the house before 6 a.m. and doesn't usually get home until 6:30ish at night! He gets to carpool with his friend Jason which is a huge help with gas and helping the hours pass too and from.
Good has been so good to us and we couldn't be more excited!

Surprise!!!!!!
Last year we went through months of fertility treatments only to be told that my "stuff" was not responding and more than likely, never will again. It was VERY hard for us to hear that when we both so desperately wanted more children!
Without going into all the details, April 12th at 6:45 am, we found that God has different plans for us!
WE ARE EXPECTING!!!!!!!!
We are in our 9th week and could NOT be more excited about our new little one! We are so blessed to have a beautiful son already and are so excited to make him a Big Brother!

Still Going!
Day 21 of potty training and things are going great! He is in underwear all day and pull ups at night! He even naps (when he'll nap) in his underwear! I am so proud of my "big boy"! If I so much as slip up and say, "I love my baby boy" Trey freaks out and says "I not a baby, I a big boy!"
He is learning so much and growing so fast it amazes me!

It Happened!
My dreaded potty training adventure happened!
My fear:
To be standing in a long line waiting to check out and then "Mommy, inna peepee" Translate: MUST GO POTTY!
AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a little background on the story 1st.
Killian Rd. Walmart, Tuesday, 3:50 pm
We get to Walmart to have the oil changed and pick up some groceries. I have never been to this Walmart before so I have to ask people where to go to do the oil stuff. Get inside and the lady is SUPER nice and very helpful. She tells me it will be about an hour before the car is ready. No big deal. But then, a technician tells me there are 3 cars ahead of me and he is by himself!!! WHAT? So they add 30 minutes to my time, so 1 1/2 hours. Still, no big deal.
We get our shopping done between the 4 potty visits and then it is 5:33 and I am 2nd in line to get my car. Meanwhile 4 MORE people come in behind me and are also in line. 35 minutes pass, wait a minute did I type that right? oh yessss........35 minutes and still I have not even been acknowledged! The lady that was in front of me is still there to get her key made and we still wait! Patiently I might add! Then I heard the words "Mommy inna peepee" I can not tell my son no, so out the line and to the potty we go!
Can I tell you that when we got back the line STILL HAD NOT MOVED!!!!! And now we are in the back!!!! 20 minutes later I am standing there and there is a girl with a buggy in front of me. The another lady comes up and tells her thank you for holding her place for her and the girl leaves! I'm sorry, what? So she was allowed to run get some salad leaves and get back in line while some other customer holds her place? I don't think so! So she and I began to chat (nicely) and she let me go in front of her.
AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just typing this makes my blood boil all over again! Jerry left work and was at home waiting for us during this whole ordeal! He works an hour away!
Jerry treated us to Cici's and we had a nice dinner.
To make the day better, Trey pooped on the potty for the 1st time @ Cici's! (yes I'm a mom and I talk about poop freely)
There it is, my worst potty fear!

Is this really it?
Trey want to Potty
No turning back for me this time. Trey wakes up January 1 and DOES NOT want to wear a diaper! No complaints from this side! So we are off onto the potting adventure once again!
How funny he chose Jan 1. Did he have his own resolution this year? hahaha, looks like it!

January 2010
Is it really 2010??
When I was younger, I thought by this time we would all be driving/flying space crafts around. There would be no more cars and we would have fly-thrus not drive-thrus.
At any rate here we are, 2010. I am going to try to do better with posts since my little man is growing up and saying so many new and funny things.
From our family to yours, Happy New Year!
