Good Hearing

Trey had his hearing test yesterday and his hearing is good. Much to the surprise of the doctor. He said he is a little shocked that there wasn't some loss with the constant ear infections Trey's had. Anyways, he has a cold that is quite yucky right now and I am praying that it will go away by next Wednesday so everything can run smoothly. I am so thankful that my mom-in-law is coming to stay with us and go with Trey and I to the hospital AT 5:30 am next Thursday morning.
Please pray that everything will go well and Trey will do good. I will be so happy to know the ear infections will be OVER!!!

Too big for his own britches...

Some updates on Trey....

1.) Today, sadly, Trey fell asleep in the car right after school. Totally normal. I had some things to do afterward so he slept while I ran the errands. The sad part is, when I got home and laid him down he woke up and WOULD NOT go back to sleep!!!!! I had SO many things I wanted to do and got NONE of them done. Oh well there is always tomorrow....

2.) One of the times I went in to check on him this afternoon after school, he was standing in his crib yelling "MAMA MAMA" (as usual) and low and behold he had taken off his britches!!!! The reason that scares me, is because one day he had on just his diaper (he was fixing to get in the tub) and here comes a streaker (with the cutest bottom you have ever seen might I add) running down our hall way. Then he proceeds to wheedle on the floor. So needless to say I am quite concerned about his new found knowledge for taking his britches off!!!

3.) For about a week now Trey has learned a new phrase. it is "ess dat?" translation "what's that?" he points to sooooooooo many things and out comes the question "ess dat?" absolutely too cute!!!

4.) Today I was teaching him how to roar like a lion. But I have to say he makes the sweetest little "aahhhh" sound. I do say though, he enunciates it like a loud roar, but it comes out sounding like a sweet baby lion.

Wonderful Week

This week was wonderful! Jerry, Trey and I went to the beach. We left Wednesday after church and stayed with Dad in Florence. Thursday morning we left out for Trey's first beach visit! We had an amazing time and I will post a smilebox after I get my camera back. (I left it in Florence)

ALSO, THE BIGGEST AND MOST EXCITING NEWS IS........ Jerry got a job!!!!!! And it's here in town!!!! As our children's minister said, God must not be done with us yet here in Columbia. I was so happy to tell my boss at preschool that Trey & I won't be leaving & it was so fun to see everyone's reactions.

I'll write more later, I just wanted to give a quick update :)

Trey's Surgery

Trey will have his surgeries on October 30th. It will be first thing in the morning and the doctors said they should go really quickly. And, if things go as planned, Trey will have little or no downtime!!! WooHoo! In and out of the hospital as fast as we can is my way to do it! Thanks for all the prayers and support!
