My Friend Mel

There are no words to explain how much I LOVE TO SCRAPBOOK!!! And I can only tell you that Mel feels the same way! She has just about every whatchamacallit and gadget that there is on the market for scrapbooking. She can take the blandest most blah picture and make a page that will make your heart stop. I look at her pages and can only hope to be 1/2 as good as she is some day! She has a saying that "Every page can't be a rockstar" beside her books mine will never stack up! All of her albums are MAJOR ROCKSTARS!!

I go over to Melissa's, where all my scrapbook stuff is, and we scrap till our bodies won't let us anymore. There is a perk and a con to all my stuff staying at her house. The biggest thing is a PERK! We don't have to waste time packing and unpacking. We go upstairs and get started! Then, when we are to tired, we close the sacred door and I drive home in a zombie state and go to sleep. The con is that if I wanted to take a few minutes while at home to put a page or 2 together, I can't. I do say it is a very small price to pay!

I love Mel so much and am thankful for every minute we have together. It is so great to have a friend who loves me totally for who I am. She gets so excited when I make a "Rockstar" page that I feel like I just won a major award! We share the same passion and love for scrapping and I am so thankful to God for letting me know her!
